WinemakingDomaine Labruyere is one of the oldest wineries in the Moulin-a-Vent Appellation. In 1850, Jean-Marie Labruyere, wine grower, settled in les Thorins, a hamlet of Romanèche-Thorins. He acquired 10 hectares of well-located vineyards.

Visit our cellarThe Moulin-a-Vent terroir is one of the most legendary in Beaujolais region thanks to its typical granite slopes including the famous pink sandy soils adjacent to the windmill, that gave its name to the Cru. This enables the Gamay to give birth to wines of uncommon complexity with an exceptional ageing potential.
